Everest - Three High Passes Trek (Khangmala-Cho la-Renjo la)

Trip Description

Everest 3 High pass trek is one of Challenging and Strenuous trek in Khumbu Everest region of Nepal. You are doing some of best adventure passes during trek such as Khangmala Pass (5535m) Chola pass (5420m) and Renjo la pass (5338m). In some high passes and around high hill Area, Tea house lodges/Guest house are not available. So we organize full board fully supported camping- tented trek where there is no Tea house.
Trek will start from minimum 2800m to maximum 5545m Kalapattar, Khangma la pass- Chola pass- Gokyo peak and finally renjo la pass and back to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu. If you have longer timeframe, it is advised to start trek from JIRI which is 7-8 days more. Based on your timeframe of holiday, trek can be customized accordingly if necessary.

The trek through Nepal’s ‘Three Passes’ takes in some of the most exciting and picturesque scenery in the Himalaya. The landscape is varied and spectacular; the lodgings and tracks range from the time-worn paths of the Khumbu, to the isolated and less frequented Renjo Pass region.
Sometimes strenuous trekking is continuously rewarded with dramatic Himalayan scenes, including four of the world's eight highest peaks; Cho Oyu(8,201m), Makalu (8,463m), Lhotse (8,516 m) and Everest (8,850m).Time spent admiring breathtaking mountain vistas are complemented by visits to Sherpa villages, homes and monasteries offering you an insight into the quiet but, culturally vibrant Sherpa way of life.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01. Arrival in Kathmandu- 1340M and transfer to Hotel
Day 02. Preparation day for the Trek
Day 03. Fly to Lukla (2840M) & Trek to Phakding (2800M) - Approx.4 hrs-Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 04. Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440M) - Approx- 6 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 05. Trek to Syangboche, Rest/Acclimatization and Back to Namche Bazaar- 3 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 06. Trek to Tengboche (3860M) - Approx 4 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 07. Trek to Dingboche (4350M) - Approx 4 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 08. Trek to Amadablam BC for Acclimatization & back to Dingboche- Approx 5 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 09. Trek to Chhukung (4743M), 3 hrs – Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 10. Trek to Khangmala BC (5000m)-4 hrs- Tented Camp (B/L/D)
Day 11. Trek over Khangmala pass (5535) to Lobuche (4930m)-6hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 12. Trek to Everest base camp (5400m) and back to Gorekshep (5170m) - 7/8 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 13. Trek to Kalapattar, 5545m & trek to Dzongla- 7/8 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 14. Trek over chola pass (5420m) trek to Dragnag-6/7 hrs – Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 15. Trek to Gokyo-3 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 16. Trek to Gokyo Peak and Back to Gokyo-4 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 17. Trek over Renjo La pass (5338m) & trek to Arye, 7/8hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 18. Trek to Glacier, 3 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 19. Trek to Thame, 6hrs – Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 20. Trek to Monju, 6 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 21. Trek to Lukla, 5 hrs- Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 22. Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu & Transfer to hotel,  (B/B)
Day 23. Free day in Kathmandu
Day 24. Departure or Extension of Visa as per requirement.
