Cultural home stay is one of the latest trek designed by sport adventure peak trek and expedition. It is all about seeking the Himalayan people and their lifestyles. You can get very close to those people and know them more deeply, you can know their way of living, what they eat, what kind of custom they follow, what kind of dress they wear, about the religion they follow etc

In this area most of the people are Sherpa's and few are others, like Rai, Tamang, magar etc. people in this area are kind in nature and most of all are kind of helpful to others, even though they are of different castes and religion, they stay in a same community. these villages are totally different from other village outside of Nepal. These villages are naturally beautiful and it looks much more beautiful when rhododendron flower grows in the forest.

Festivals Here people celebrate different festivals every year they celebrates losar, dukpa chhechi, mani rumdu, dashain, tihar sang and few more. During every festival all the people of village gather together and share their joys and happiness with each other.


Itinerary for Cultural home stay Trekking 2016  

DAY 1.Arrive to Kathmandu (1300m) Transferred to hotel.

DAY 2.Preparation day for trekking program: welcome party at night.

DAY 3.Kathmandu to Phaplu. (By Flight)(2495m)Program: Visit monastery, school and other places.

DAY 4.Phaplu to Junbesi (2700m)                                                                      

DAY 5.Junbesi Program: Hiking (Junbesi to langgate 3550m) to see the Himalayan range.                                            

DAY 6.Junbesi to Phungmuche (2923m) Program: Visit Buddhist religious place.

DAY 7.Phungmuche Program: Hiking (Phungmuche to Shengeephuk 3940m)

DAY 8.Phungmuche to Ringmu (2720m)

DAY 9.Ringmu to Taksindu (3070m) Program: visit Taksindu monastery and other places. 

DAY 10.Taksindu to Chyangmityang (2800m)

DAY 11.Chyangmityang Program: visit Chyangmityang monastery, health post and other places.

DAY 12.Chyangmityang to Phaplu (2495m)

DAY 13.Phaplu to Kathmandu (By flight) (1300m) Program: free day for shopping.                                                                                            

DAY 14.Kathmandu Program: sight seeing in kathmandu and farewell dinner.

DAY 15.Departure from Kathmandu


If there is someone who wants to take single room then  they have to add 150 Euro more on the initial cost price.

What Is Included

  • All airport/hotel transfers
  • 4 nights  hotel in Kathmandu with B/B plan

What Is Not Included

  • Nepal Visa fee (bring  two passport photographs)
  • International airfare to and from Kathmandu
  • Excess baggage charges,
  • Lunch and evening meals in Kathmandu(and also in the case of early return from the mountain than the scheduled itinerary)
  • Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu because of early arrival, late departure, and early return from the mountain(due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary
  • Travel and rescue insurance
  • Personal expenses (phone calls, laundry, bar bills, extra porters,,etc)
  • Beverage( soft and hard drinks) on the way during trek
  • Tips for guides driver and porters (staff)
