Lhasa, most popularly known as ‘Sunlight City’,it is regarded as the heart and soul of Tibet and hence is the number one tourist destination in Tibet. Visiting white and ochre fortress of Potala Palace and Jokhang temple can be quite spiritually rejuvenating experience. Potala Palace is a UNESCO world heritage and features an overwhelming array of intricate murals, temples, stupas, tombs of eight past Dalai Lamas, exquisite Tibetan Mandalas and other relics of Tibetan history. Jokhang temple lying 2 km to the east is another Tibetan religious site. If you wish to glimpse into Tibetan culture, what could be more insightful than exploring Barkhor markets! As you wander around the markets, you witness Tibetan arts, culture, custom and tradition. With so much to see and explore in Lhasa, this will truly be an unforgettable experience.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Lhasa (3660m)
Our staff will meet you Gonggar Airport. After immigration formalities take a 1.5-hour drive leading to Lhasa lying at an altitude about 3650 meters. then you       are transferef to hotel

Day 2: Sightseeing in Lhasa
Meal: breakfast & lunch
Sightseeing places:monasteries of Tibet like SERA MONASTERY etc, NORBULINGKA, the summer palace of the Dalai Lama, Jokhang temple , BARKHOR MARKET etc you are also introduced about important aspects of Buddhism,after all you are leaded back to hotel

Day 3: Sightseeing in Lhasa
Meal:breakfast & lunch
Sightseeing places: mystiques of Lhasa like majestic POTALA PALACE towering above city of Lhasa,Tibetan murals, temples, stupas, and tombs of eight past  Dalai  Lamas vantage Ancient Tibetan cultures and beautifully landscaped DREPUNG MONASTERY. back to hotel
Celebration:last day party

Day 4: Departure Lhasa
You will be transferred to the airport with farewell greetings and offering khata (a scarf offered for goodluck)
